The Next Journey begins

Well, the next journey has already begun! In October I will be leaving Spartanburg and heading to North Africa! Yep, you read that right. It's been quite a journey, actually one that started well over a year ago and I've finally gotten the green light. I am so excited! I am slightly overwhelmed! I am scared! I am sad to leave Dan, my family, my friends, and my homegroup. Yet, despite all the emotions, I know I'm doing exactly what I am suppose to be doing, exactly what My DAD is telling me to do. I will be living in North Africa for the next two years where I will be working with teachers and community development. I'm not exactly sure what that really means, but I'll have plenty of time to learn. I'll be learning Arabic too!!
Here are specific things to think about for me:
1. that all the details will come together over these next few weeks
2. that I will finish well at FBS
3. that Dad will begin to prepare the hearts of those I'll be working with
4. that my "goodbyes" will be as "easy" as possible
5. that "many will come to know and fear and put their trust in Dad"
6. that I will be able to pay off all of my bills and continue to save
7. that I will have lots of time with Dan, my family, and my friends
8. that Arabic will come easy and quickly
9. for my new team and family
10. as I prepare to go to Richmond in August for training

I look forward to where this journey will be leading! It's gonna be good! Thank you for thinking of me, I hopefully will be posting more as I prepare to go soon.
